Suzuki's 10-year/200,000 km warranty in Europe: terms and eligibility

Suzuki extends its warranty in Europe to 10 years or 200,000 km. See eligible models, dealer servicing rules, and how used cars can qualify under the program.

Suzuki has expanded its warranty program: coverage now stretches to up to 10 years or 200,000 km. With this step, the brand stands alongside Toyota, Lexus and Kia, which already offer comparable terms. The new rules apply across the range, including the Swift, Vitara, Swace, Across and the electric e-Vitara.

The extended warranty is available under a few conditions. Vehicles must be serviced by an official dealer in line with the maintenance schedule, and the warranty is renewed after each service until the next scheduled visit. Used cars can also qualify if they were originally supplied to the European market, have not exceeded the mileage cap and have no unresolved technical issues.

Until now, Suzuki provided a three-year factory warranty plus three more years from the importer. The updated program strengthens the brand’s position amid intensifying competition and is likely to appeal to buyers thinking long term, including those shopping the pre-owned market. It reads as a measured vote of confidence in the product and takes some of the anxiety out of keeping a car for longer.
