The Nissan Silvia is back in the headlines, and no, this is not about Nissan reviving the model. Social media just lit up over a tuned S15 Nissan Silvia wearing a fresh Liberty Walk widebody kit — the Japanese coupe has been turned into a loud drift build that visually nods to the iconic Skyline R34 GT-R.

The base car is the Silvia S15, built in Japan from 1999 to 2002. It rides on Nissan’s S platform with a classic front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, and has long been one of the most popular chassis for drifting and tuning projects. Total production stopped just over 43,000 units.

Liberty Walk reworked the body in its signature style. The car gets flared front fenders and rear arches, sharp side skirts, a deep front splitter, an aggressive hood, a massive diffuser and a huge rear wing on the trunk lid. The silver livery with stripes and sponsor decals visually points to the racing aesthetic of the R34 Nissan GT-R.

This build is not meant to sit on a show stand. According to Liberty Walk founder Wataru Kato, the Silvia was built to drift and is scheduled to debut in September in Australia.
