Maxus StarCraft X True Passenger Edition unveiled at Guangzhou Auto Show
At Guangzhou Auto Show 2025, the Maxus StarCraft X True Passenger Edition pickup debuts with 520 hp, hard top and extended cargo bed, built for hard use.
At the Guangzhou Auto Show, the new Maxus StarCraft X True Passenger Edition was unveiled. Aimed at tough conditions, the model combines a utilitarian body with a closed module and an extended cargo bed. Shown with a hard top and an enlarged loading area, this spec comes across as more tool than toy.
The StarCraft X delivers a maximum output of 520 hp. Built on a large ladder-frame architecture, it measures about 5,360 mm in length, 2,045 mm in width and 1,940 mm in height, with a 3,500 mm wheelbase. The show truck wears all-terrain tires, a massive front bumper and a grille with vertical LED sections.
Inside, there is a wide digital panel, a horizontal central display and an enlarged climate-control block. The trim combines soft materials with contrasting inserts. The pickup is fitted with a full-size rear compartment with protective coating and a swing door. The manufacturer says it is suitable for use in any region, and the layout favors clarity and easy reach over flash.
This pickup format should attract those considering a vehicle for mixed use—from city duties to long-haul routes and work off the beaten path.
