Cadillac V-Series.R makes its Chinese debut at Auto Guangzhou
At Auto Guangzhou the Le Mans-proven Cadillac V-Series.R makes its Chinese debut, highlighting track-focused aero and wins across WEC and IMSA endurance racing.
At Auto Guangzhou, the Cadillac V-Series.R made its Chinese debut—a race car created to honor the brand’s victories and key milestones in global endurance competition. Shown alongside new CT5 iterations, the V-Series.R emerged as the stand’s most uncompromising track-focused highlight.
The car wears a red livery with number 31 and a pronounced racing aero kit. The nose is defined by a large lower splitter; at the rear, a massive wing underscores its aerodynamic priorities. Even at a standstill, the stance and surfacing read as purpose-driven. The design is entirely track-oriented and aligns with the hypercar prototype category.
The Cadillac V-Series.R brings a proven record. In 2023, it returned to the Le Mans grid and climbed the podium on debut. In 2025, the team delivered the brand’s first pole at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 58 years and secured a one-two finish at the six-hour race in São Paulo.
In North America’s IMSA series, the V-Series.R also performed at the highest level, winning two key rounds back-to-back—Indy Road Brick and Petit Le Mans. The car continues to represent Cadillac in endurance racing and remains among the brand’s most consistently successful machines of recent years.
