Audi Nuvolari: first five UK supercars snapped up in just 24 hours
Audi UK boss José Miguel Aparicio says the first five Nuvolari supercars at around £500,000 each were sold within a day of the local debut.
Audi Nuvolari found its first customers in the UK almost overnight. According to Audi UK boss José Miguel Aparicio, the first five supercars priced at around £500,000 were sold within 24 hours of the local debut.
The Nuvolari marks Audi’s return to the supercar segment after the R8 bowed out. It runs a hybrid powertrain built around a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors, with a combined output of 1,001 hp. Audi quotes a 0–100 km/h time of about 2.6 seconds and a top speed of more than 350 km/h.
Production will be capped at 499 units. The car is named after legendary racer Tazio Nuvolari and underlines the brand’s ties to Formula 1: in 2026 Audi entered the championship as a works team. It also shows off a new approach to development — from concept to production car in roughly 14 months, almost unheard of in this class.
The lightning-fast sell-out in the UK proves Audi still has an audience for expensive image-builders — even with the wider market pivoting hard to electric.
