Rossmonster expands the Baja family with two extreme campers: the Plus is built for long off-grid trips, the Trail 72 for harder terrain and desert speed.

Rossmonster has expanded its Baja family with two extreme campers at once. The Baja Plus is built for long, self-sufficient life off the pavement, while the Baja Trail 72 leans toward harder off-roading and high-speed desert runs.

The Baja Plus rides on a Ford F-550 or Ram 5500 chassis and gets a hard-walled pop-up living module. When raised, interior height reaches 198–203 cm; when lowered, the body sits closer to the road and stays more composed on the move — lower center of gravity, less body roll. Two layouts are offered: the LX with a full wet bath and shower, and the EX, which trades the fixed shower for extra counter space, a larger fridge, and a more open lounge area.

The reserves are almost expedition-grade: up to 257 liters of fresh water, an LFP battery bank up to 1620 Ah, solar panels rated up to 800 W, a 3000 W inverter, a 12 V air conditioner, hydronic heating, hot water, and even heated floors. The camper sleeps and seats up to six. For the rough stuff, Rossmonster lists LiquidSpring suspension, a Super Single rear conversion, 335/80 R20 or 335/88 R20 tires, a 9-ton winch, Baja Designs lighting, and Starlink prep.

The Baja Trail 72 is more compact and rides on a Ford F-350. Here the emphasis shifts to Carli Pintop suspension, 37-inch BFG KO2 tires, Extreme Motorsports upgrades, and a reinforced rear with a custom frame cage. If the Plus is an autonomous home, the Trail 72 is closer to a desert weapon with a bed, kitchen, and air conditioning.
