Bugatti has stepped beyond the automotive world once again. The brand has unveiled a joint project with Austrian company C Seed — the Bugatti N1 foldable TV. This isn't a new version of a hypercar or a car accessory, but a piece of luxury home electronics.

The device is built on the C Seed N1 platform and draws inspiration from the Bugatti Tourbillon. The design uses motifs from the signature C-line familiar from the brand's cars, along with original materials and finishes from the Tourbillon, an exclusive Sculpture Silver finish and bespoke color configurations. In its closed state, the TV looks like a minimalist architectural sculpture, and at the push of a button it transforms into a large 4K MicroLED screen in 45 seconds.

The Bugatti N1 will come in two sizes — 110 and 137 inches. The screen supports HDR10+, features an anti-glare coating and C Seed's proprietary Adaptive Gap Calibration system, which is designed to hide the seams between the folding panels. Also on the spec sheet: 180-degree screen rotation, carbon-fiber elements and a Wisdom Audio sound system built on planar magnetic drivers — its speakers extend out of the housing on power-up and retract back when the TV isn't in use.

Comparing the Bugatti N1 to automotive rivals doesn't really make sense — it's a different product category altogether. But the project is telling for the Bugatti brand image. The marque is increasingly selling not just cars but the lifestyle around them — from watches and furniture to electronics, where the logo and design account for as much of the price tag as the specs themselves.
