Tesla hires Prague driver-operators to advance FSD in Europe

Tesla posts a driver-operator role in Prague to collect real-world data for Full Self-Driving, signaling a cautious European rollout pending approval.

Tesla is intensifying its push to bring Full Self-Driving to Europe. The company has posted a driver-operator role in Prague, making the Czech Republic the third European country where Tesla is recruiting for data collection, alongside Germany and Hungary.

The opening sits within engineering and IT. The operator will drive within a defined area, gather and analyze data, and prepare daily reports. The contract runs for one year. Tesla stresses that this position is critical to refining FSD and broadening its testing program.

The company has spent several years seeking approval to roll out FSD in Europe. Elon Musk has previously said the sign-off process is considerably more complex than in the United States and takes longer. In July, Tesla said it was awaiting final regulatory approval. Taken together, the new hiring and the company’s cautious messaging suggest a measured path to market, with real-world data collection placed squarely at the center of its European strategy.
