Top 10 luxury models resold within the first year (iSeeCars)
An iSeeCars analysis of 18M sales reveals the luxury models most often resold within a year. See the top 10 list, resale rates, and prices from 2023–2024.
A new iSeeCars study finds that premium badges dominate the models most likely to be sold by their first owners within a year. The analysis covered more than 18 million new-vehicle sales from 2023 through 2024, offering a wide snapshot of the market’s early trade-ins and flip sales.
According to iSeeCars Executive Analyst Karl Brauer, the pattern suggests that luxury buyers often either don’t dig deep enough before signing, overestimate their budgets, or simply change course quickly after purchase. It’s a reminder that the promise of a high-end experience sometimes collides with everyday realities once the car leaves the showroom.
