Ferrari Luce by Venuum Black: the tuner finally makes the EV look like a Ferrari

Venuum Black has rendered a matte-black, widebody version of the Ferrari Luce — meaner, lower and finally looking like a proper Ferrari to many fans.

Ferrari Luce has barely settled into its role as Ferrari’s first electric car, and tuners have already shown how its character can be reshaped. Venuum Black has put together renders of the Italian newcomer with a darker, wider and altogether meaner look — exactly the kind of stance a part of the fanbase had been hoping for from a car out of Maranello.

The original Luce has been a tough sell for the public. It’s neither a classic mid-engined supercar nor a traditional V12 grand tourer, but a four-door, five-seat electric car on a bespoke platform. It runs four electric motors, active suspension, four-wheel steering and a design that deliberately walks away from established Ferrari cues.

Venuum Black didn’t try to rework the idea behind the car — it just cranked up the aggression. The body is now matte black, with carbon-fibre accents, a deeper front splitter, larger air intakes, flared arches, side skirts, multi-spoke black wheels and yellow brake calipers. At the rear, there’s a substantial fixed wing, an aggressive diffuser and a darkened tail with round lamps in classic Ferrari style.

This kind of treatment isn’t just about the picture. The Luce has a long roof, clean surfaces and unusual proportions, so adding aggressive details helps strip away the feel of an overly calm EV. The car starts to come across not as a design experiment, but as a high-end electric GT ready to compete on looks as well as numbers.

There’s no word yet on whether the kit will go into production, but the signal is clear: the Luce is set to become a new playground for tuning houses. After Venuum Black, it’s only logical to expect a response from Novitec, Mansory and other names that thrive on expensive, polarising and unmissable Ferraris.

The first electric Ferrari is being reshaped before the market has even had time to get used to it.
