Chevrolet has launched the updated Silverado 2026 in Argentina. The full-size pickup is still offered in two trims — Z71 Trail Boss and High Country. The trucks come from GM’s plant in Silao, Mexico, and the changes focus on equipment rather than hardware.

The biggest news goes to the Z71 Trail Boss, which finally gets the Multi-Flex tailgate with several opening configurations. The mechanism makes it easier to reach the cargo bed, helps when hauling long items and doubles as an extra step and a work surface. According to Argentine media, the High Country keeps the conventional tailgate but adds a dedicated cargo-monitoring camera.

The lineup also picks up the full OnStar Protect & Connect package for one year at no extra cost, including telematics services, remote functions, Wi-Fi and 6 GB of monthly data. Mechanically, nothing changes: the Argentine Silverado sticks with the 5.3-liter petrol V8 rated at 360 hp and 519 Nm, a 10-speed automatic and 4x4 with low-range gearing.

Prices in Argentina start at 103,515,900 pesos for the Silverado Z71 Trail Boss, while the High Country goes for 112,300,900 pesos. The source converts those to roughly $73,500 and $79,900, but the figures depend heavily on exchange rates and taxes, so they can’t be compared directly with prices in other markets.
