BMW i4 M60 Gets a Sharp Black Package — But the Model May Not Stay Long
BMW has added the Black Package to the electric i4 M60 in Europe. Priced at €2,380 in Germany, it brings a darker look just as the i4 nears the end of its run.
BMW has expanded the options list for the electric i4 M60: the Black Package is now available for the model in Europe. It targets the look rather than the hardware — the Gran Coupe gets a darker, more focused appearance, and you don’t even have to order it in black.
In Germany the package costs 2,380 euros. It includes 19-inch Jet Black wheels, blacked-out side and rear badges, extended Shadow Line trim with dark accents inside the headlights, and M Sport brakes. Buyers aren’t tied to Sapphire Black either: the full palette remains on offer for the i4 M60, including bold shades and Individual finishes. The source mentions Frozen Tampa Bay Green at 4,900 euros as one example.
The cabin doesn’t go fully black either. The package adds carbon fiber trim and M-coloured seatbelts, while the upholstery can be specified separately — from synthetic materials to leather and pricier BMW Individual options.
BMW keeps tweaking the i4 M60 here and there, although the source notes that the i4 family could give way to the new Neue Klasse EVs as early as late 2026 or early 2027. That makes the Black Package look less like a meaningful technical update and more like a way to keep interest alive before the generation change. The real question now isn’t the colour of the details — it’s how much longer the i4 will stay in BMW’s lineup.
