Cupra Tavascan 2026 Entry-Level RWD Variant Launched

Cupra introduces the entry-level Tavascan RWD for Europe. Priced from €47,300, it offers 190 hp, 441 km WLTP range, and 58 kWh battery.

The Cupra Tavascan 2026 is gaining a new entry-level variant for the European market. According to Motor1, the base electric SUV is now called the Tavascan RWD and starts at €47,300 in Italy. A better-equipped version, the Tavascan Drive RWD, is priced at €50,300.

The new model sits on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform. It features rear-wheel drive, a single electric motor producing 190 hp, and a lithium-iron-phosphate battery with a capacity of 58 kWh. WLTP range is rated at 441 km, and maximum DC fast-charging speed is 105 kW.

Standard equipment includes 19-inch wheels, Atacama Desert paint, LED headlights, illuminated Cupra logos front and rear, heated mirrors, keyless start, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, single-zone climate control, and adaptive cruise control. The Drive version adds tinted rear windows, a power tailgate with hands-free opening, a digital key, three-zone climate control, external power supply, volumetric alarm, and Travel Assist 3.0.
