Toyota is preparing more than just a showpiece for the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show. The brand is set to bring several models that could significantly reshape its off-road lineup in the Philippines. According to Top Gear Philippines, the main debut candidates include the Land Cruiser 300 HEV, Land Cruiser FJ, and Hilux BEV.

PIMS 2026 runs from June 4 to 7, and Toyota is already listed among confirmed exhibitors. The company previously outlined its launch plan for the year, which includes the Urban Cruiser, new RAV4, LC300 HEV, Land Cruiser FJ, and an all-new Hilux. So seeing some of these models at the auto show seems like a logical step, not a random guess.

The biggest intrigue centers on the Hilux BEV. For markets like the Philippines, the Toyota pickup has long been seen as a workhorse, so switching to electric power must prove not just green credentials but also real-world capability in heat, rough roads, and daily abuse. A new-generation Hilux was already shown in electric form in Thailand, so a regional launch seems only a matter of time.

The Land Cruiser 300 HEV plays a different role. Its hybrid system isn't about fashion—it's about cutting fuel consumption in a heavy body-on-frame SUV without sacrificing torque or four-wheel drive. The Land Cruiser FJ, on the other hand, could offer a more affordable entry into the Land Cruiser family, with off-road character but without the flagship's price tag.

Toyota is clearly assembling its lineup so that electrification doesn't feel like a compromise. One vehicle is for work, another for status, and a third for those wanting something smaller and cheaper than the big Land Cruiser. For buyers, the key question remains: how much will these cost once they hit the market?
