MG MGS6 EV: specs, pricing and range of the electric crossover
Discover the new MG MGS6 EV family crossover: 77 kWh, up to 530 km range, 241–356 hp, five-star Euro NCAP, big cargo space and tech-rich interior from £38k.
MG has officially unveiled the MGS6 EV, a family-focused electric crossover previously seen undergoing Euro NCAP crash testing. It’s set up to carry people and their kit without fuss: 674 litres of luggage space in the standard configuration, or up to 1,910 litres with the seats folded. There’s also a 124-litre compartment under the bonnet.
The range opens with the SE Long Range at just under £38,000. Like the Trophy Long Range, it uses a single rear-mounted motor rated at 241 hp, with a claimed 530 km of range. The flagship Trophy Dual Motor delivers 356 hp, needs a little over 5 seconds to reach 100 km/h, and is priced at under £44,000; its range is 485 km. All versions share a 77 kWh battery and the MSP platform, which is also used by the MG4. On paper, the mix of pace and distance looks well judged for family duty.
Interior
Inside, two screens set the tone: a 10.25-inch instrument display and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and wireless charging are supported. The Trophy version adds a panoramic roof, ventilated seats and an 11-speaker audio system. The layout comes across as thoughtfully specified rather than flashy.
The model has earned a five-star Euro NCAP rating and is positioned as one of the most practical newcomers among 2026 electric family crossovers. Given the space and spec, that sounds like a credible claim.
