Hyundai has reworked the Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid’s powertrain, lifting combined output to 288 hp and 380 Nm—up from 252 hp and 367 Nm. The gasoline engine now delivers 180 hp instead of the previous 158 hp, while the official electric driving range remains at 54 km.

The standout change is towing capacity: the Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid is now rated to pull up to 1,700 kg, an increase of 690 kg. It still trails the Santa Fe Hybrid’s 2,000 kg figure, yet this upgrade makes the plug-in version feel notably more versatile for family duties.

There are tweaks to the trim names as well: Comfort Smart becomes Comfort Plus, and Premium Plus is now Premium Pro. Pricing starts at 60,995 euros for the seven-seat Comfort Plus specification.
