The 2026 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, held from May 15 to 17, has crowned its best car. A 1937 BMW 328 "Bügelfalte" won the top honors, securing the "Best of Show" title from a jury of experts. The unique nickname comes from the striking metal trim on its front fenders.

On Sunday evening, May 17, owner Stefano Martinoli received the "Trofeo BMW Group – Best of Show" award. The prize was presented by Helmut Kess, head of BMW Group Classic and president of the concours; Wilhelm Schmid, CEO of A. Lange & Söhne; and jury chairman Lorenzo Ramacciotti.

The Villa d'Este concours is a prestigious annual gathering of classic and rare cars held in Cernobbio, Italy, on the shores of Lake Como, next to the Villa d'Este hotel. The event is considered one of the most important for lovers of automotive history and luxury.
