Mansory Star Trooper pickup: 838-hp Mercedes-AMG G 63 for €951,881
Only seven built: Mansory and Philipp Plein’s Mercedes-AMG G 63 Star Trooper pickup hits the market in Europe for €951,881, with 838 hp and 0–100 km/h in 2.5 s.
Mansory and designer Philipp Plein decided the standard Mercedes-AMG G 63 wasn’t enough and turned it into the extreme Star Trooper pickup. Only seven exist; one is now for sale in Europe at nearly a million euros — €951,881 including taxes.
Little of the original G-Class remains: the body was shortened, a cargo bed was added, and the bumpers, hood, fender flares and roof kit were completely reworked in carbon fiber. The truck wears a grey-and-black camouflage with red accents and 23-inch wheels. After dark it stands out with built-in red lighting, the kind you expect on special-duty vehicles.
Under the hood sit 838 hp and 1,000 Nm. Mansory says it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds — almost two seconds quicker than a stock G 63. For a tall, boxy pickup that claim sounds bold, but it fits the brief. Inside, it’s packed with kit: Night Package, Burmester audio, a panoramic roof, driving assistants and Plein’s signature touches.
This example has covered about 1,350 km, essentially still new. For the same outlay you could buy five brand-new G 63s in the U.S., yet collectors may value the Star Trooper as one of Mansory’s rarest and most theatrical builds — the kind of centerpiece that trades rationality for spectacle.
