Kosmera Plans a 2,000-HP Electric Hypercar in Germany by 2027

Kosmera plans a 2,000-hp electric hypercar built near Tesla's German factory by 2027, featuring AI torque vectoring and an AR co-driver for enhanced dynamics.

Kosmera, a Chinese company founded in 2025 by Dreame Technology, is once again making a play for the high-end EV market. The brand wants to build a hypercar producing over 2,000 horsepower (1,471 kW), with production slated for Brandenburg by late 2027. The site would be near the Tesla factory.

The project has already raised eyebrows in the industry. Dreame Technology is best known for robot vacuums and home appliances, not automobiles. But Kosmera insists the production car won't be a carbon copy of the Star Matrix design mockup it showed. Instead, it will be a distinct two-seat hypercar with its own identity.

According to the company's engineers, the car will get four high-speed electric motors positioned near the wheels. An AI-driven system will handle torque distribution, promising near-instantaneous traction management. The structure is set to be a carbon monocoque with an aluminum frame, developed with help from international racing specialists.

Battery and control electronics are planned to come from China. European partners will handle some of the chassis and handling components. Kosmera cites access to skilled labor, automotive expertise, and specialized suppliers as reasons for German assembly. The Brandenburg plant is expected to be highly automated.

The digital side gets special emphasis. Kosmera is building an AI and augmented reality system that acts like a virtual co-driver. It analyzes the car's dynamics, road conditions, surface grip, driving style, and even the driver's physical state, then projects trajectories, braking points, and warnings directly into the driver's field of view.
