Subaru of America has announced that the 2026 Outback Touring and Touring XT have earned a spot on the Wards 2026 Top 10 list for best interiors and user interfaces. The accolade reflects praise from WardsAuto judges for the Outback’s all-new cabin design, improved infotainment system, and advanced driver-assistance features, all part of a sweeping redesign of the flagship model.

Wards evaluated 28 entirely new, refreshed, or heavily updated vehicles in 2026, grading them on aesthetics, design cohesion, comfort, connectivity, infotainment, displays, advanced safety systems, and overall value.

Judge Drew Winter remarked that the Outback Touring interior is the most luxurious Subaru cabin he has ever seen. The deep brown and black surfaces, with their appealing textures, give it a genuinely premium feel. He also highlighted high-tech amenities like ventilated and heated seats.
