Volkswagen is readying a new electric crossover called the ID.Cross. It will slot above the ID.Polo in the lineup. Pricing starts at €27,990—just €3,000 more than the base hatchback.
The entry-level ID.Cross comes with a 116-hp electric motor, a 37-kWh battery, and a range of up to 316 km. Fast charging maxes out at 90 kW. Higher trims bump output to either 135 or 211 hp, paired with a 52-kWh battery that extends range to 436 km. Those versions also get faster charging at up to 105 kW.
At 4.16 meters long, this crossover is the electric counterpart to the T-Cross in Volkswagen’s combustion-engine range. Initial offerings include Life and Style trims, with the base version arriving later. The ID.Cross broadens the 2026 lineup and underscores the brand’s push to deliver more affordable electric crossovers with varying power and range options.
