212 Brand Expands Off-Road Lineup with New Models at Auto China 2026

212 showcases updated T01 off-roader, diesel version, midsize SUV, compact T10, and Explorer 01 pickup at Auto China 2026, highlighting modern platforms and off-road capability.

At Auto China 2026, the 212 brand held a major presentation of its updated lineup, unveiling several new vehicles at once. According to SPEEDME, the range includes the updated T01 off-roader, its diesel version, a new midsize SUV, the compact T10, and the Explorer 01 pickup.

The updated 212 T01 retains its classic boxy design but now sits on a modern technical platform. It rides on the WY ladder-frame chassis and is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 185 kW. The hardware includes low-range gearing, a 50:50 torque-split four-wheel-drive system, and a wading depth of up to 850 mm.

The diesel version of the T01 is built for long-distance travel. With its fuel-efficient engine and an 80-liter tank, range stretches to around 1,000 km. The new midsize SUV offers a more versatile format, combining off-road capability with improved comfort and aerodynamics for daily use.

The compact T10 stands out with its short wheelbase and removable roof, emphasizing maneuverability and off-road character. The Explorer 01 pickup rounds out the lineup as a multi-purpose model with cargo capabilities, adapted for various use scenarios.

This expansion of the model range signals the 212 brand's strategy: focusing on classic body-on-frame SUVs with full four-wheel drive while adapting to modern market demands. This approach could appeal to off-road enthusiasts as well as a broader audience.
