Honda Civic 20th Anniversary Edition debuts at Beijing Auto Show 2026

Dongfeng Honda reveals special Civic sedan celebrating 20 years in China with red color, sporty upgrades, and Type R-inspired chassis tweaks. On sale from 113,900 yuan.

At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show and related events, Dongfeng Honda unveiled a special edition of the Civic sedan to celebrate the model’s 20th anniversary in China. The car is already on sale starting at 113,900 yuan (16,664 USD).

The anniversary Civic gets several visual updates. Key changes include the return of the signature red body color, refreshed exterior elements, and extra sporty touches. Inside, there’s lighter trim and upgraded seats with better support.

Under the hood, the car retains the familiar setup: a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a CVT. Honda also mentions chassis refinements inspired by sportier variants, including the Civic Type R.

The model is clearly aimed at the local market. In 20 years in China, the Civic has sold more than 2.3 million units, remaining a key compact sedan for the brand.

During the presentation, Honda also showed an anniversary Civic with a two-tone paint job, sporty body add-ons, a larger rear wing, and decorative graphics. This version is more about image than production specs.
