KGM, formerly known as SsangYong, has unveiled an updated version of the Torres EVX electric SUV. The headline change is a higher-capacity BYD Blade battery: 80.6 kWh instead of the previous 73.4 kWh. As a result, range rises from 462 to 500 km on the WLTP cycle, while DC fast-charging remains at 120 kW with a 10–80% top-up in 30 minutes. The upgrade feels timely and makes the EVX look more convincing in its segment.

The powertrain is unchanged: a 152 kW motor (207 hp) with 339 Nm. The company has also strengthened its warranty terms to 7 years or 150,000 km for the vehicle and 10 years or 1 million km for the battery — a move that signals confidence and should reassure long-term owners.

On the outside, the Torres EVX receives a reworked front end, while the cabin gains twin 12.3-inch displays and upgraded materials. Practicality remains a strong suit: cargo volume ranges from 600 to 839 liters, and with the seats folded it grows to 1662 liters — the kind of flexibility families value.

The model is offered in Trend and Life trims with generous equipment that includes adaptive cruise control, LED lighting, keyless entry and an expanded ADAS suite. Priced at €34,500, the refreshed Torres EVX shapes up as an appealing alternative for anyone weighing their options among family electric crossovers.
