Discover the 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Electric, featuring 482 hp, 760 km range, fast charging, and cutting-edge tech like the Hyperscreen.
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the fully electric version of the C-Class, set to hit the market in 2027. Dubbed the C 400 4Matic Electric, it's positioned as one of the most technologically advanced sedans in its segment.
The new C-Class adopts the latest design language from the brand. With its illuminated vertical grille, sleek body lines, and a drag coefficient of 0.22, it looks both modern and efficient.
The interior revolves around digital solutions. Depending on the version, buyers can choose from three screen configurations, including a Hyperscreen measuring over 39 inches diagonally. An augmented reality head-up display is also available as an option.
Power comes from a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup. Combined output reaches 482 horsepower and 590 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in roughly 3.9 seconds.
A 94 kWh battery pack delivers up to 760 km of range on the WLTP cycle. Thanks to an 800-volt architecture, the sedan supports fast charging at up to 330 kW, which means topping up from 10% to 80% takes about 22 minutes.
With the electric C-Class, Mercedes fills a key gap between its compact and flagship models. This new entry directly rivals the BMW i3 and other premium EV sedans.
Overall, the electric C-Class underscores Mercedes' focus on blending power, range, and cutting-edge tech. For the market, it signals that the premium electric sedan segment is entering a new phase of competition.
