BMW ALPINA relaunch details and upcoming models
BMW releases teasers for ALPINA brand relaunch, with new models focusing on comfort and speed, debuting in 2026. Learn about the updated logo and production plans.
BMW continues preparations for the relaunch of the ALPINA brand, releasing new teasers without revealing the appearance of future models. After BMW Group acquired the brand rights in 2022 and completed the agreement by the end of 2025, ALPINA officially entered a new development phase starting in 2026.
The published materials showcase elements of the brand's signature style: an updated logo, classic multi-spoke wheels, and distinctive body lines. However, the actual vehicles remain undisclosed.
The company states that new models will focus on comfort and high speed rather than track performance. They will position themselves above standard BMWs but won't compete with Rolls-Royce. Production will remain at existing factories, upgraded for more exclusive models.
ALPINA's public debut as a separate brand will occur from May 15 to 17 at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este exhibition in Italy. Future ALPINA models are positioned as niche vehicles with limited production runs, emphasizing the premium segment.
