KGM introduces hybrid and electric models in the German market

KGM, formerly SsangYong, launches hybrid versions of Actyon and Torres, plus electric Musso pickup, expanding its German dealership network and targeting private and commercial buyers.

KGM, formerly known as SsangYong, is expanding its model lineup in the German market by introducing hybrid and electric versions of its vehicles. In its first year, the brand sold around 3,000 cars and established a network of 140 dealerships, which it plans to grow to 200 by the end of 2026.

The lineup now includes hybrid versions of the Actyon and Torres crossovers. Their powertrain combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 204 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. Average fuel consumption is 6.1 liters per 100 kilometers, with the ability to drive short distances on electric power alone.

Also introduced is an electric version of the Musso pickup, producing 238 horsepower and featuring an 80.6 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 420 kilometers. Its payload capacity allows it to carry a standard Euro pallet, while towing capacity reaches 2.3 tons.

Additionally, KGM offers an electric cargo version of the Torres, aimed at professionals and service companies. Overall, the brand's new 2026 models cover both private and commercial segments.
