2026 Ford Bronco Sport updates: order details and equipment changes

Learn about the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport updates, including new orders, trim changes like Outer Banks and Badlands, and pricing adjustments with flexible configurations.

Ford has begun taking orders for the updated 2026 Bronco Sport and has revised the equipment of certain versions. The changes affect both standard options and additional equipment packages.

The Outer Banks version once again features door handles painted to match the body color, which were previously absent. This trim also offers a $395 interior protection package that includes floor mats and seat back protectors.

At the same time, some features across the lineup have been reduced. For example, in the Sasquatch package, some elements that were previously standard have become paid options, and interior grab handles have been completely removed.

The Badlands trim has dropped in price from $38,265 to $37,265, but this is due to moving several options into a separate package. Base equipment no longer includes a heated steering wheel, power-adjustable passenger seat, memory settings, remote key start, and a 400-watt inverter. These features are now available in the $2,295 Badlands Tech Package.

This package also includes a premium B&O audio system, voice-controlled navigation, and additional trim elements. Additionally, there's now an option to order the $1,500 Bronze Appearance exterior package.

Overall, the updated Bronco Sport reflects a broader market trend where 2026 model year vehicles feature flexible configurations: base prices may decrease, but significant equipment is shifted to paid options.
