Dacia Striker: largest crossover with spacious family focus

Dacia has unveiled the new Striker crossover, which now stands as the largest vehicle in the brand's current lineup. Designed as a family car, it emphasizes spaciousness, practicality, and affordability.

At 4.62 meters long, the newcomer is larger than the Dacia Bigster. Built on the CMF-B platform, it targets everyday use. Dacia highlights the roomy cabin and generous trunk, bringing its concept close to that of the former Logan MCV Stepway.

Despite its size, the Striker is offered only in a five-seat configuration. This is a key difference from the seven-seat Dacia Jogger, meaning the two models don't compete directly within the range.

The crossover features Stepway-inspired styling with off-road accents, aimed squarely at family buyers. The manufacturer is betting on a blend of modern technology, reliable engines, and an attractive price point.

A full presentation is scheduled for June 2026, after which the car will go on sale. The Striker will be part of Dacia's new strategy to expand its model range and strengthen its position amid growing competition.

Given its format and features, the model could enter the category of best family cars, offering a balance of price and practicality.
