Volkswagen reveals the new Transporter Sportline van, featuring sporty design, electric powertrains, and hybrid options. Starting at £51,105, it offers up to 210 miles range.

Volkswagen has unveiled a new version of its Transporter Sportline van, blending sporty styling with practicality. Pricing for the model starts at £51,105 (€58,771) before taxes.

The van comes in several variants: a 2.0 TDI diesel engine producing 167 horsepower, electric powertrains, and a hybrid version set to arrive later. The electric models offer motors with 215 or 282 horsepower and a range of up to 210 miles (approximately 338 km). The more powerful version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, a figure that rivals many passenger cars, while maintaining the same range.

This model features a distinctive exterior design, including new bumpers, side skirts, lowered suspension, 19-inch wheels, and a rear spoiler. Inside, it gets sport seats and additional trim elements.

A limited Sportline 75 edition is also available, with just 75 units featuring unique styling. Overall, the new Transporter broadens the small business vehicle segment by offering a mix of design, power, and functionality.
