Mercedes-Benz is wrapping up testing of the fully electric C-Class, slated for 2026. A nearly undisguised prototype was spotted at the Nürburgring proving ground, revealing a production-ready look with sleek aerodynamics and AMG Line cues. Even with minimal camouflage, the shape reads clean and purposeful, with details that feel carefully tuned for airflow.

Built on a new platform, the electric C-Class will come in single- and dual-motor configurations, with 4MATIC all-wheel drive in the mix. Range will reach nearly 1,000 kilometers, made possible by improved aerodynamics and batteries with liquid cooling and round cells. The combination promises long-haul capability without losing everyday ease of use.

Inside, a next-generation 33-inch digital display will take center stage. Series production is scheduled to begin at the end of 2026, with sales opening in the first half of 2027. The rollout timing looks measured, which should help the car land smoothly in a competitive segment.

Later, an AMG version with around 700 hp will arrive, joining the brand’s 2026 sports lineup and adding a clear performance edge to the range.
