Explore the BMW iX3 40 electric crossover with 320 hp, 635 km range, fast charging, and a starting price of 63,400 euros. Sales begin in 2026.
BMW has introduced the new base version of its iX3 electric crossover — the iX3 40. This model becomes the second variant in the lineup, following the all-wheel-drive iX3 50 xDrive.
The car features a rear-axle electric motor producing 320 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h.
An 82.6 kWh battery provides a range of up to 635 km according to the WLTP cycle. Fast charging is supported at up to 300 kW, allowing drivers to add up to 300 km of range in just 10 minutes. Charging from 10% to 80% takes about 21 minutes.
The model is built on BMW's new platform with an 800-volt architecture. It also includes bidirectional charging capabilities, meaning the vehicle can serve as a power source.
Sales will begin in summer 2026, with a starting price of 63,400 euros. This new addition expands BMW's lineup of electric city cars, offering a balance between range, performance, and advanced technology.
