Subaru is preparing to launch a new electric crossover, the Uncharted SEV (Sport Electric Vehicle), in Australia. The model will hit the market in mid-2026 as part of the brand's expanding electric vehicle lineup and will compete with similar models from Toyota and other manufacturers.

The vehicle features a dual-motor powertrain with a combined output of 338 horsepower and Subaru's signature Symmetrical AWD system. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about 5 seconds. With a 74.7 kWh battery, the range reaches up to 522 km on the WLTP cycle. Fast charging is supported at up to 150 kW DC, allowing the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in roughly 30 minutes. A V2L function for powering external devices is also available.

This crossover boasts 211 mm of ground clearance, an X-Mode system with descent assist, 20-inch wheels, and a 14-inch multimedia screen. Standard equipment includes Subaru Safety Sense driver-assistance systems and a 360-degree camera setup.
