Updated 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E with more range and standard tech

Discover the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E with up to 615 km range, new standard driver assistance features, and the GT California Special edition. Learn about its efficiency upgrades.

Ford has unveiled the updated 2026 Mustang Mach-E with increased range and expanded standard features. The electric crossover retains its previous battery packs but achieves greater efficiency through new low-rolling-resistance tires.

The rear-wheel-drive version now offers up to 615 km of range, while the all-wheel-drive model reaches 555 km. This represents an improvement of up to 15 km depending on configuration. The vehicles use either 88 kWh Extended Range batteries or 72.6 kWh LFP units.

Standard equipment now includes driver assistance systems such as Clear Exit Assist, which warns of hazards when opening doors, along with adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance, and blind-spot monitoring.

The color palette has been refreshed, and Ford introduced the GT California Special edition with 487 horsepower, unique design elements, and 20-inch wheels. This detail matters because it highlights Ford's ongoing refinement of the Mach-E lineup. In practice, this means buyers get more capability and features without fundamental changes to the vehicle's architecture.
