Discover the new Lexus ES electric sedan with ES 350e and ES 500e variants, offering up to 494 km range, fast charging, and hybrid version. Learn about specs and features.
Lexus has launched sales of the eighth-generation ES sedan in a fully electric version. The model comes in two variants—the ES 350e and ES 500e—with a hybrid ES 350h version set to arrive later.
The new sedan is built on an updated TNGA-K platform that supports different powertrain types. Compared to the previous generation, it has grown larger: length has increased by 17 cm, width by 5.6 cm, height by 11 cm, and the wheelbase by 7.9 cm. This has improved passenger space, especially in the second row.
Both electric versions feature a 74.7 kWh battery. The ES 350e gets a single electric motor with 221 horsepower and a range of up to 494 km. The ES 500e is equipped with two motors (338 hp) and all-wheel drive, but its range is up to 444 km.
Fast charging to 80% takes about 28 minutes at 150 kW, while Level 2 charging requires around seven hours. Standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch multimedia screen, and the Lexus Safety System+ 4.0 suite.
An Executive package is also available, adding rear seat adjustments, ventilation, massage functions, and an ottoman. Overall, the model expands the 2026 new car segment by offering buyers a choice between electric and hybrid versions on a single platform.
