Redesigned 2027 Hyundai Palisade boosts power and luxury features

Discover the 2027 Hyundai Palisade with a new 2.5-liter turbo engine, hybrid powertrain, Black Ink edition, and premium upgrades to rival BMW and Cadillac SUVs.

Hyundai is preparing to launch a completely redesigned Palisade for the 2027 model year, marking a key step in the brand's move into the premium segment. In its home market, the company will skip the 2026 model year to focus on the new version's debut.

The most significant change is the phasing out of the V6 engine. The new Palisade will feature a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 281 horsepower, alongside a hybrid powertrain with a combined output of 334 horsepower. These new units are set to replace the previous offerings and improve overall efficiency.

A new Black Ink edition will also be introduced, featuring darkened styling elements. Chrome accents will be replaced with black components, including the grille, window trim, and badges. The exterior will be further enhanced with 21-inch alloy wheels.

This updated Palisade is aimed at competing with premium SUVs from brands like BMW and Cadillac. Inside, the cabin is expected to receive higher-quality materials and improved finishes. Overall, this new version represents a crucial part of Hyundai's strategy to strengthen its market position and establish a foothold in the more upscale segment.
