Elon Musk has indicated a potential new unveiling date for the Tesla Roadster. According to him, the electric supercar could debut in late April 2026. Previously, the Tesla CEO had stated that the model would be shown on April 1, but the timeline has shifted again. Production of the Roadster is expected to begin 12 to 18 months after its official debut.

The model's history has been marked by repeated delays. The second-generation Roadster was first unveiled back in 2017, with production initially slated for 2020. Since then, the schedule has been revised multiple times.

In terms of announced specifications, the Roadster remains one of Tesla's most ambitious projects. The electric car will feature all-wheel drive and a wheel torque of around 10,000 Nm. It will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 2.1 seconds and reach 160 km/h in 4.2 seconds. The top speed is claimed to be 400 km/h.

Special attention has been given to the range. Tesla promises a battery capacity of approximately 200 kWh, enabling it to cover up to 1,000 km on a single charge.

If the timeline holds this time, the Roadster will serve as a key showcase of Tesla's technology and become one of the fastest production electric vehicles on the market.
