Chevrolet Silverado EV RST Stars & Steel Edition returns for 2026
Chevrolet revives the sporty Silverado EV RST as a limited 2026 Stars & Steel Special Edition with patriotic styling, high performance, and advanced tech features.
Chevrolet is bringing back the sporty version of its electric Silverado EV RST pickup for the 2026 model year. After quietly removing the trim from the lineup earlier in 2025, it will return as a limited-run Stars & Steel Special Edition.
This new version celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States and features unique styling. The truck sports special Stars & Steel graphics, black badging, black center caps, and decorative elements that emphasize the patriotic theme. It includes several exclusive features not available on other Silverado EV models, such as a flat-bottom sport steering wheel with red stitching, an Adaptive Ride Control suspension system, and an adjustable-height air suspension.
The model also comes with high-performance brakes and unique 24-inch six-spoke aluminum wheels in gloss black. Standard equipment includes Comfort & Convenience and Technology packages, along with the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system. Additionally, the pickup features a Multi-Flex Midgate system, Chevytec anti-slip body coating, a heads-up display, and a powerful 19.2 kW charging unit.
The Silverado EV RST will be offered with two battery options. The Extended Range version delivers up to 645 horsepower, while the Max Range variant produces up to 760 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. Peak output is achieved in Wide Open Watts mode. Official pricing for the new model has not yet been announced.
The return of the RST version shows that Chevrolet continues to focus on powerful, tech-rich electric pickups. Limited editions like Stars & Steel help maintain interest in the model while showcasing the capabilities of the Silverado EV platform.
