Lexus LM500h 2026 model year enhancements for passenger comfort
Discover the 2026 Lexus LM500h updates, including puddle lights, upgraded refrigerator, faster USB-C ports, and reduced road noise. Learn about pricing and hybrid powertrain.
Lexus continues to refine its luxury minivan, the LM500h, with incremental updates. Although the current generation debuted just in 2023, the brand has introduced several enhancements for the 2026 model year, all aimed at boosting passenger comfort.
One of the new features is puddle lights mounted low on the doors. These illuminate the ground when the sliding doors open and are available on the top-tier, four-seat Executive variant.
Inside, the rear-passenger refrigerator has been updated. It now includes flexible dividers that secure bottles of various sizes, preventing them from rattling against each other during travel.
The center console has also been upgraded. Its USB-C ports now deliver up to 60 watts of power, allowing passengers to charge smartphones more quickly or even use a laptop while on the move.
Lexus engineers focused on acoustic comfort as well. For the Executive and Version L trims, a new tire tread pattern has been developed to reduce road noise, making journeys even quieter.
Under the hood, nothing has changed. The LM500h retains its hybrid powertrain, which pairs a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine with two electric motors for a combined output of 366 horsepower. It features all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission.
The updated Lexus LM500h is already on sale in Japan. Pricing starts at around $95,700 for the six-seat version and climbs to approximately $127,800 for the flagship, four-seat Executive model.
