Lexus presents SPACE installation and art at Milan Design Week 2026

Lexus announces participation in Milan Design Week 2026 with SPACE installation featuring LS Concept and four art projects. Explore future luxury mobility and design.

Lexus has announced its participation program for Milan Design Week 2026, one of the world's largest design events. From April 21 to 26, the brand will present five works, including an immersive installation called SPACE centered around the new flagship LS Concept, along with four art projects from the Discover Together 2026 initiative. The venue will be Superstudio Piu in the heart of Milan's Tortona district, a traditional hub of international design.

The SPACE installation explores the theme of personal and mobile 'space' as a key element of future luxury mobility. Lexus offers a perspective on the evolution of transportation: from the car as a means to reach point B to an environment that moves people along with their lifestyle and emotional comfort. The LS Concept symbolizes this philosophy, representing a space where boundaries between work, privacy, and travel become flexible, and mobility itself transforms into an aesthetic experience.

In parallel, the brand will debut four art projects from Discover Together 2026. This year's theme is the search for one's own unique space, titled 'Discover Your Space.' Each project uses the LS Concept as a point of inspiration, exploring possibilities in design, tactility, light, and form. Participants include the creative duo of Hayashi Kiyotaro and Kurotani Yumi, the Italian studio Guardini Ciuffreda, the Dutch Random Studio, and a collaboration between Lexus and Japanese craft masters—ranging from traditional work with wood and stone to modern experimental structures.

Lexus emphasizes that such initiatives are part of the brand's broader mission to redefine luxury and create values that extend beyond the automotive industry. Through art and design, the company aims to showcase the direction of future mobility, where space becomes a form of self-expression and a new field for innovation.
