Audi has expanded the engine lineup for its Q3 and Q3 Sportback crossovers with a new diesel option. This 2.0-liter TDI unit produces 193 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed S tronic automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. Both the standard Q3 and the coupe-style Q3 Sportback are available with this engine across all trim levels: Business, Advanced, Progressive, S line, and Black line.
In the Audi Q3, this powertrain delivers a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h. Fuel consumption averages 6.1 liters per 100 km under WLTP testing, with CO2 emissions of 160 g/km. The Q3 Sportback offers nearly identical performance, matching the acceleration time and fuel economy while reaching a slightly higher top speed of 221 km/h.
Orders are now open, with first deliveries to dealerships expected this summer. The base price for the Audi Q3 with the 193-hp diesel engine starts at €52,905, while the Q3 Sportback version begins at €54,805. This move continues to develop Audi's compact SUV lineup, positioning the model as a premium 2026 off-roader aimed at drivers who prioritize power, all-wheel drive capability, and efficiency for long-distance travel.
