Toyota reduces RAV4 hybrid base price by $2,340 for 2026, with new PHEV variants and up to 320 horsepower. Learn about pricing and features.
Toyota has announced pricing for the sixth-generation RAV4 hybrid crossover for the North American market in the 2026 model year. The key news is a $2,340 price drop for the base trim.
The RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid now starts at $42,900 for the SE version. The XSE trim has become $510 cheaper and is priced at $49,100. This move strengthens the Japanese automaker's position in the midsize SUV segment.
New variants have been added to the PHEV lineup. The Woodland version, aimed at off-road use, costs $46,700. The sporty GR Sport trim will set buyers back $49,900.
The RAV4 PHEV's powertrain combines a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with two electric motors for a total output of 320 horsepower, which outpaces the GR Corolla. Electric-only range reaches 80 km. For comparison, the standard RAV4 hybrid, with 226 horsepower, is offered in the U.S. starting from $33,400 to $44,800.
The reduction in base price reflects Toyota's effort to maintain leadership in the hybrid crossover segment amid growing competition.
