2026 Honda Pilot: off-road SUV with advanced tech and family-friendly design

Honda has unveiled the updated 2026 Pilot. The brand's flagship three-row SUV now focuses on off-road capabilities and modern technology. The model is already available for test drives at Honda dealerships.

Under the hood, the 3.5-liter gasoline V6 engine with 285 horsepower remains, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. For challenging road conditions, the i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system is offered, enhancing traction on slippery and uneven surfaces.

The interior accommodates eight passengers. Features include a multimedia system with a 7- or 9-inch screen, wireless support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety is handled by the Honda Sensing suite with a set of driver assistance systems.

Among the versions is the off-road-oriented TrailSport. The seating configuration includes a foldable center seat in the second row to increase space. Due to its versatility and spaciousness, the model can be considered one of the best family vehicles for active trips and travel.
