Skoda Auto has announced a partnership with software company 3SS to launch a new entertainment platform in its vehicles. This solution is integrated through the Skoda Play service and runs on the 3Ready Automotive system.

The platform combines video content from various sources, including news, educational programs, and Skoda's own branded materials. The system tailors its offerings based on user preferences and vehicle type, supporting both live streams and on-demand content.

Through Skoda Play, the automaker will also be able to deliver service instructions, product updates, and marketing materials directly to the multimedia system.

On the management side, the platform includes analytics and content control tools that track user engagement. Built on Linux Automotive OS, it is compatible with Linux, AOSP, and Android Automotive, providing flexibility for future models.
