Porsche Macan GTS electric SUV: power and agility details

Explore the Porsche Macan GTS electric SUV with 571 hp, 0-100 km/h in 3.8s, and up to 586 km range. Features chassis upgrades, fast charging, and sporty design.

Porsche is expanding its electric Macan lineup with the new GTS version, positioned as the traditional "golden middle" between the 4S and Turbo models. With Launch Control activated, the GTS delivers 571 horsepower and 955 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, just half a second slower than the Turbo variant, and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h.

Engineers have reworked the chassis, featuring a standard air suspension lowered by 10 mm, reinforced stabilizers, and an electronic PTV Plus locking differential. The optional rear-axle steering allows the rear wheels to turn up to 5 degrees in counter-phase, reducing the turning circle to 11.1 meters and making the 2.4-ton SUV feel noticeably more agile.

Externally, the GTS stands out with black accents, 21-inch RS-Spyder wheels, red brake calipers, and matte badges. Inside, the cabin features Race-Tex upholstery, seats with 18-way adjustment, a sport steering wheel, and Porsche's signature ergonomics.

The battery retains the familiar architecture, with a gross capacity of 100 kWh and a WLTP range of up to 586 km. Thanks to the 800-volt system, charging at up to 270 kW reduces the 10-80% charging time to around 21 minutes. The Sport Chrono track mode pre-cools the battery, maintaining high performance during extended drives.

Priced from €104,200, the Macan GTS slots neatly between the 4S and Turbo. Porsche positions this model as the most balanced option, offering practicality and dynamic performance without the extremes of the top-tier version. Overall, the GTS represents a logical enhancement to the electric lineup, designed for daily driving with distinct sporty accents.
