Opel Mokka GSE Rally: new electric car for 2026 rally cup

Opel unveils the Mokka GSE Rally for the 2026 ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup, featuring 207 kW power and international events like Rallye Sanremo.

Opel has unveiled the new Mokka GSE Rally for the 2026 ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup season. This electric series is set to become more international, with a calendar featuring seven rounds across six countries, including the legendary Rallye Sanremo in Italy.

The Mokka GSE Rally replaces the previous electric Corsa Rally. The new car delivers up to 207 kW (281 hp) and 345 Nm of torque, a significant step up from its predecessor's 100 kW (136 hp). Opel claims the rally-tuned chassis has been refined to deliver performance on par with Rally4-class machinery.

Opel Motorsport recently held a test event attended by 26 drivers from across Europe, some of whom are expected to compete in the 2026 season. Development of the Mokka GSE Rally is on schedule, with homologation under the new eRally5 regulations planned for spring.

Orders for the electric rally car are now open at a price of €67,900 excluding VAT. Customer deliveries are scheduled for the second half of April, giving teams time to prepare for the season opener—the ELE Rally in the Netherlands at the end of May.
