Singer's new Porsche 911 Cabriolet project: limited edition and upgrades
Discover Singer's limited-run Porsche 911 Cabriolet, based on the 964-generation, featuring a 4.0-liter engine, carbon fiber body, and modern tuning. Only 75 units planned.
Singer has unveiled its new Reimagined Porsche 911 Cabriolet project, based on the 964-generation model. Only 75 of these vehicles are planned for production.
The cabriolet features comprehensive upgrades to its chassis, body, and powertrain. Its carbon fiber body draws inspiration from 1980s Turbo versions, with additional steel and composite elements integrated to enhance rigidity. A new two-section electric folding roof is fitted, and buyers can choose between two styling options: a more aggressive, aerodynamically focused version, and a Touring variant with an active rear spoiler.
Under the hood lies a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, developed with input from Cosworth. It produces 420 horsepower and revs to 8,000 rpm, thanks to features like variable valve timing, water-cooled cylinder heads, and air-cooled cylinders. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
Standard equipment includes carbon-ceramic brakes, 18-inch center-lock wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires, five traction control modes, a front-axle lift system, and an infotainment unit with navigation and CarPlay support.
Overall, the project showcases a modern approach to tuning classic-era cars while preserving the 911's original architecture. Pricing has not been disclosed.
