Micro enters Norwegian market with Microlino electric car

Swiss company Micro launches Microlino in Norway, offering compact electric vehicles for urban mobility with speeds up to 90 km/h and ranges to 228 km.

The Swiss company Micro is continuing its international expansion by entering the Norwegian market. To facilitate this, it has established a separate entity called Microlino Norge AS, headquartered in Sandnes with an operational center in the Stavanger region. This new company will be responsible for sales, service, and warranty support.

Norway is considered one of the most electrified markets globally, which makes it a key platform for new urban mobility concepts. Micro anticipates that the local market is receptive to compact and sustainable solutions.

The Microlino was developed in Switzerland and is manufactured in Turin. The model is available in two versions: the Microlino Lite, which has a speed limit of 45 km/h, and a standard variant with a top speed of 90 km/h. Depending on the battery, the range varies from 95 to 228 km.

The company positions the model as part of the New Generation Urban Luxury concept, designed for short urban trips. In practice, this means the Microlino is strengthening its presence in the urban electric vehicle segment by focusing on compactness and minimalism. Prices for the Norwegian market have not yet been announced.
