Inside Audi’s 2026 lineup: A2 e-tron, Q4 update, RS hybrid power

Audi readies a 2026 lineup refresh with the A2 e-tron, Q4 e-tron facelift, RS5 hybrid, RS6 plug-in, and new Q7/Q9 SUVs—more range, choice, and electric tech.

In 2026, Audi is preparing a sweeping refresh of its lineup. Expect a wave of new EVs and hybrids alongside updated takes on its best-known models.

The headliner will be the Audi A2 e-tron—a compact electric hatch built on the MEB+ platform, positioned as the successor to the discontinued A1 and Q2. A facelifted Audi Q4 e-tron is also on the docket, bringing a reworked front bumper, updated headlights, and a longer driving range thanks to a new battery. The shift looks like a timely consolidation of Audi’s compact offerings around electric tech.

On the performance side, the RS5 will debut with a hybrid V6 targeting around 600 hp, while the RS6 Avant adopts a plug-in hybrid setup with system output exceeding 700 hp. These figures suggest the brand is keen to keep its speed credentials intact even as electrification takes the lead.

Among the larger SUVs, a new Q7 with a hybrid powertrain is expected, offering up to 100 km of electric-only driving, joined by the premium Q9 configured for seven passengers. The direction is clear: more range, more choice, and a broader spread of electrified options without losing the familiar Audi polish.
