First Rimac Nevera R Founder's Edition delivered in Swiss Alps

The limited Rimac Nevera R Founder's Edition debuts at I.C.E. St. Moritz, featuring 2,107 hp, 0-60 mph in 1.66 seconds, and exclusive buyer experiences.

The first Rimac Nevera R Founder's Edition was delivered to its owner at the I.C.E. St. Moritz event, held on a frozen lake in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of about 6,000 feet (1,829 meters). This marked the model's first public appearance.

St. Moritz is known as a resort town with mineral springs and luxury hotels. The frozen lake hosts not only automotive events but also polo matches, for example. Organizers describe I.C.E. St. Moritz as the winter equivalent of Monterey Car Week.

The Founder's Edition is limited to 10 units. Rimac notes that buyers participate in selecting their individual specifications: they visit the company's Croatian headquarters, receive invitations to private viewings, and get access to events related to the model's development.

The delivered car is painted in Cote d'Azur Blue with a Titanium Silver lower body. The roof features a stripe as narrow as 2 mm at its thinnest point, with graphics resembling circuit boards and Rimac's signature motif. The interior uses Indigo Blue shades, matte black carbon fiber on the console, and anodized switches. The door sills bear the signatures of Mate Rimac and project team members.

Rimac positions the Nevera R as an evolution of the base Nevera toward a Hyper Sportscar. The electric motors produce a combined 2,107 horsepower, and a new torque distribution system is employed. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph is claimed at 1.66 seconds, with a top speed of 268.2 mph. The company also reports 24 established records.
